About me

Psychologist. Psychotherapy. Quality of life.

If you are looking for a psychologist or practical psychological information, let’s meet.

On this site you will find materials on psychology and psychotherapy that help change the quality of life in reality, not in theory.

What am I working with?

I work with how a person can improve relationships with themselves and others, cope with stress, crises and traumatic experiences, and build a life so that it has more stability, clarity and desire to live. I also work with neurodivergent clients. I teach and provide supervision to specialists.

Here: texts, practices and areas of work that help change lives from the inside, through conscious work with internal processes. As well as my training materials and courses for specialists.

Most often people come to me who want:

  • get out of destructive or toxic relationships and learn to understand with whom and how they really feel good;
  • stop living on autopilot and start building your life consciously and in a given direction;
  • learn to enjoy simple things even in times of crisis and uncertainty;
  • restore strength and energy and make it a habitual and sustainable way of life;
  • build warm, lively, supportive relationships and find “your own”;
  • experience crises creatively, and not through self-destruction;
  • work through traumatic experiences and close complex stories of the past;
  • neurodivergent adult clients who have often experienced therapy with several specialists, but receive targeted help with their individual characteristics here (there are many articles on the site about neurodiversities, this is the topic of my research work).

These are not motivational messages or abstract psychology. This is practical psychotherapeutic work aimed at improving the quality of life.

Professional experience

I am a practicing psychologist. I have been working with clients since 2005, in private practice since 2007.

FORMAL PART ABOUT ME:

Practical work experience since 2005. Experience working with clients in private practice since 2007.

Accredited Gestalt therapist, supervisor (Gestalt), certified body-oriented therapist (Bodynamics, studied directly with the founders of the method, teachers of the Danish Institute of Bodynamics and Life Quality Institute). Certified NLP Practitioner. Member of the association of body therapists The embody lab, as well as the Association of Bodynamic Psychology. Basic education: psychologist. Author of scientific articles and publications in European publications and reports at international conferences at the level of an international expert. I conduct training programs for colleagues. I have a registered copyright patent for a method of psychological assistance to children. I teach my own courses and projects, as well as licensed training for colleagues from the ICDL Institute (USA).

My main topic of work is quality of life in the most practical sense of the word. Not through external attributes, but through changing your views, habits, perceptions and sustainable movement forward.

I regularly work under supervision and have extensive personal therapeutic experience (since 2007), which I continue to this day. For me, this is part of my professional responsibility – for the quality, depth and integrity of my work.

My approach

I work not only with pain and trauma. My focus is deeper: not only to “fix the crisis” and relieve pain, but to organize life so that it becomes better – sustainably and without rollbacks.

This is working with habitual scenarios of thinking and living life, with your sensitivity to yourself and emotions, habits and internal processes that either support life or gradually deplete it.

This is work about how to allow yourself more joy, relaxation, warmth and freedom of life, build self-esteem and internal support, not just get out of the crisis, but rebuild your way of life so that you don’t return to the same scenarios again and again.

  • not about “thinking only positively”;
  • not about persuasion and motivation;
  • about growing an adult, mature and strong personality.

Working with neurodivergent clients:

We begin our work not with diaries of emotions and analysis of the emotional sphere, but much deeper – with an assessment of the client’s state and the individual characteristics of the functioning of his nervous system. After this, a system of work is built where, first of all, we work with the neurological basis of the client’s self-regulation, the ability to cope with stress, develop flexibility and adaptability. This system of work is at the intersection of psychology, psychotherapy, neurology and special-needs/developmental psychology. The basic approach for us at the beginning of such work is the principles and tools of DIRFloortime, sensory integration, which in practice has shown high efficiency. And then, as the client’s self-regulation increases, traditional psychotherapeutic assistance becomes possible. At the moment, I am the only specialist in the ru-space who combines several evidence-based approaches in such work, trains other specialists in such work, and purposefully helps neurodivergent adults.

I also teach and train colleagues in the DIRFloortime approach (mainly working with children with special needs), and am a certified provider of such training from the ICDL Institute (USA). I raised a child with neurodifferences and a complex combined diagnosis, so I know very well all the complexities and difficulties not only as a specialist, but also as a parent.

Separately, you can read about my work as a certified expert and teacher of DIR/Floortime on a separate page.

In plain words

I love life and I am sincerely interested in how a person works – his psyche, body and thinking. I love to study and combine different areas of knowledge; I read not only psychology. I love nature and good food, especially Georgian.

I myself have gone through serious crises, great losses, and I know this path well from the inside. I was able to restore my life in a better format. Therefore, I work carefully – at your pace and in the depth that is now possible and bearable for you.

And I am deeply convinced: even in the most difficult circumstances, a person still has a choice – to be for himself or against himself. These small choices make up a big life. And after such work, life really begins to change – sustainably and truly.
